17th Annual Youth Festival @ Choate
This is an Invitation only tournament.
The 2012 Choate Festival will include 28 "A" level teams. Participation is by invitation only. If you have a boys youth team that would like to participate, please request an invitation. If you already have an invitation, please register your team today.
Boys Divisions
- Senior: U-15
- Junior: U-13
- 14 teams per division
Details
- To be held Sunday, April 22nd at Choate Rosemary Hall.
- Teams each play four scrimmages (round robin style).
- Scrimmages will last 45 minutes (20 minute halves and a five minute halftime).
- Certified officials will control play on the field.
- The scrimmage schedule will be distributed and posted by April 13th, 2012.
- The registration cost per team is $625
- Festival rules must be followed by all players, coaches, and spectators.
Player Waivers are Mandatory
- Players without a waiver signed by a parent or guardian cannot participate.
- Download the player waiver here.
- Waivers must be submitted to your coach or program director (not to WCL).
- WCL will only accept waivers for an entire team, by mail, from its coach or representative.
- Teams not submitting all waivers by April 10th will not be allowed to participate.
Team Insurance is Required
- Each program must provide WCL with its Certificate of Insurance.
- "World Class Lacrosse" and "Choate Rosemary Hall" must be named as additional insured.
- Hard copies should be mailed to WCL at the address below.
- Teams not submitting a complete Certificate of Insurance will not be allowed to participate.
Tourney Tees and Raffle
- Limited edition tee shirts will be available the day of the event.
- Since shirts sell out quickly, we recommend that teams pre-order shirt when registering.
- Hundreds of dollars worth of gift certificates and gear will be raffled off at 3pm.
- Past prizes have included WCL camp tuition, sticks, gloves, shafts, helmets, etc.
- Winning tickets will be posted at the main tent and can be redeemed by the end of the day.

On Site Vending
Cheshire Sports will be the on-site vendor for the Festival. They will have a complete stock of lacrosse items for both boys and girls. Cheshire Sports is also the leader in field hockey and ice hockey equipment. Additionally, they provide uniforms, screen printing and embroidery services.
